You’ve just finished serving up a dish of spaghetti and used the last of your grated  parmesan cheese.   DON’T THROW AWAY THIS CONTAINER!  Wash it out, fill it with some fertilizer, and then sprinkle it on your plants. 

The next time you use the last of your yellow mustard that comes in one of those nice little squeeze bottles, KEEP THE EMPTY BOTTLE!   You can use these as a cake decorating tool.  Ready made birthday cakes in the grocery store have become very expensive.  Just bake your own cake, put a small amount of an accent color of icing in the mustard bottle, and then you can squeeze it to write “Happy Birthday” on the cake.
